what's funny is that once when I went to the bar the bartender saw my shirt (it was a pic of Mike Ness, the one on Cheating at Solitaire) and she was like 'oh, I love Dave Matthews!' I almost killed her. She will never make that mistake again.....

Dave Matthews, now there is someone unique. That guy is hilarious, and the reason I know that is because I can get a recording of almost every show. I wish Mike Ness would let people record his shows.
<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">Seriously. This is not a knock against Ness. I won't say anything about him. I just think Dave Matthews is one of the funniest guys around. His stories about growing up in Africa and his school days are just hilarious. If you want to talk about having to go through a lot in life, this is the guy you look to.

Larry, if you get a chance, get the 3/13/99 D&T show. Awesome Davespeak, an amazing set, a crystal clear recording(better than Live at the Roxy), and almost 3 and a half hours of music.

After that hijack, you can resume flaming.

Hey. They brought it up. I didn't try to indoctrinate anyone. They continue to bring it up. If people would just keep their mouth shut instead of trying to act like they are music gods because they like punk music, this wouldn't have had to happen. I find the whole thing deeply ironic, because most musicians, music teachers, music majors etc. find the entire genre of punk deplorable. (Yet I'm still here.)

DMB is some good shit, but this is comin from someone who also warships the dead. Just to change the subject alittle, even if you dont like the dead or other "jam" bands, your missin out by not followin a band (and im not sayin DMB) around on a tour. Even if you dont see the show, theres still a huge mass of people outside all doin their own things in the parking lot. And if you look hard enough you can get some cheap ass tix. And youd be surprised how many punks come out to see that shit.

OK im done, just havin flashbacks.
